And my enthusiasm for it right now is such that I don’t feel I need to have it as a goal here.

I’m learning music theory each week and am working on sight reading. I must be an adult – I even find some level of enjoyment in scales.

I have a teacher! 17 months ago

The initial meeting was great. I really liked her – she seemed very competent, professional and like someone I could spend time with. Plus she had a whole lot of books I really enjoyed on her bookshelves.

I think I make have undersold myself a little bit. I mean, I could remember all about the circle of 5ths and all if I reviewed it. But I haven’t and I don’t.

I have some really minor homework and my first real lesson Wednesday. Must muck about on piano!

I found someone. Well, actually it’s like, finally I made an effort to find someone and called.

We spoke on the phone. She seemed intelligent and professional. I’m meeting her on Friday for an initial meeting.
