So far so good! I find journaling before bed helps clear my head so i can sleep a bit more peacefully.
So far so good! I find journaling before bed helps clear my head so i can sleep a bit more peacefully.
i’m not sure why this is so hard for me the past year. i think it has to do with the fact that about 4 years ago i lost all of my journals in a bad flood – my entire life of writing was completely destroyed. It really hurt, and since then I have been inconsistant about writing what i am feeling. i think this year this is an important goal to get back in touch with.
out of 7 nights per week i am getting this in about 4-5 times. Not terrible. I find it hard to do on the weekends when i have had a few glasses of wine with dinner. I have to remember to do the journaling in the daytime then. Its all about checking in with myself and seeing where I am at on that day.
I am actually doing this…fairly regularly. Out of 7 days I hit 4-5. Not too bad. Aiming for 6 days per week. I won’t cross this off yet.
I just feel that much more centered when I have spewed the insanity of my brain onto a page. Usually I do it at night, but this morning I had a few extra minutes and I sat down and journaled a page. A great way to start the day and record and interpret all my out of control dreams and nightmares. So, in addition to doing this daily, I would like to try and do it in the AM on a day when I need some focus and clarity…
