still peaking at five K
but feel fitter already.
no scottish run
no great northern run
i dont even have running shoes anymore
what a looser.
I want to get back into exercise.
We were up in aberdeen when the half marathon was and I really wished I was running it; right now I seriously doubt i could run ten k.
A couple of gym free weeks, due to work and my prsinal life getting in the way, a bit too much eating, a lot too muchsmoking and my planned eight k today was more like a three k run and a five k walk; scary how fast you deteriorate, and how much I need to improve; can i really get there for early september????
time to seriously step up the training… and cut out the fags.
ok, my fee is paid; I’ve printed off a training plan and taped it to my kitchen door, and this time, hopefully, I wont wuss out. one half marathon coming up: september will fly in. Eeek!
currently still smoking, more, if anything, currently still unable to do the recommended 50 a day sit ups; currently can do 12 before my miuddle section starts vibrating; so need to work on that: my longest run, whichwas last week, was six k; but I’m going to do thispeople, and here’s why.
I shamefully, drunkenly flirted with this disgustingly rich guy in a casino; he bought me champagne and sponsored me four hundred puonds!!!!! I set up a just-giving account for me and my friend and put it all in, towards buying a well via water aid; and allthis would be smashing had my boyfriend, who I love sooo much, and hardly ever get to see, not been there; having driven over a hundred miles to see me, just to be forgotten in the drunken glamour of it all; Oh the shame!
Running this thing, making that well a reality: I’m pretty sure it might purge the guilt. Right now I feel coated in capatilist slease! Casinos are strange and despareate places.
Anyone who’d like to helpthe purge, and more importantly, with the well, can do so here!

Noone has sponsored me at all yet except the man in the shiny suit; that said four hundred pounds! mental!
so Im easing myself backin with the women’s ten k: about two months off; and, realistically: I’m gonna nnneeeeeeeeeed that training time. At the moment Im just tryingto get back in to shaped; I did an aqaurobics class of all things, and have been swimming and using the gym machines: Im pretty pathetic on the running machine right now though: the arches of my feet seem to tense up horribly. any suggestions.
so the fresh n lo scottish run was on, and was I running? No. Ha er I been running? No.; Do I feel guity and like a bit of a failure, yes, definately.
gyms are awesome
running machines rock
jaccuzis with hot boys in are also good, and if THEY aunt motivation; what is?
Dammit; I cant afort to join; but i sooooooo want to.
I went my first big run yesterday. I only went about four miles, there and back, and I walked half, but I still feel a sence of acomplishement, and knackered.
I got a weeks free trial at a gym staring wednesday, so this should give me a wee boost in the right direction. I cannae affort to join, but they dont need to know that.
Really frustrating, The reminder is a good tool, isn’t it. I saw a picture of my ex’s new bird today and, right or wrong, it really bothered me that she is younger and fitter. If being more toned than that bei-ach ain’t motivation; what is?

Week 2: Run three mins, walk two mins, repeat 6 times

1x Run for 10 mins, rest fo two, repeat three times
1x Non stop three k run.
Matt Roberts recons that this preogramme should equip anyone to run a five k fun run. Not a half marathon, I know, but a start.
Well anyway, I hate timing myself, so I put a series of tunes exactly two minutes long onto my walkman, so I knew wnen to stop running, or start again. Nice chilled stuff for walking, punk rock and electro for the running, and I just finished my first run, and I feel great. If I can really escalate it as quick as this programme suggests then I can’t wait. Wooooohoooooo!!!
