I went to my first archery lesson there the other day. It was taking ages to get a go though because they were short right handed bows… I was getting impatient especially because there was an empty row for left handed people so I asked wheter I could do it left handed since I’m almost as comfortable with my left as my right and I didn’t think it would make much difference since it was my first try and I wasn’t used to any other way… But they wouldn’t let me :( ... Typical – society is always getting in the way of my goals. (haha)

I’m doing a lot of things left handed these days! I play pool left handed, tennis, I tried drawing left handed for bits of my last sketch, washing dishes with my left hand, learning juggling tricks left handed first, solving a rubik’s cube with just the left hand (I have to get the turns smoother but eventually I’ll get this… and it’ll be something my left hand can do that my right cant!! which would be awesome! take that, right hand!! :D)
I think what’s aiding me in this goal is the fact I have a massive burst blister that turned “scabby” on my right palm from doing the “waggle” on Beijing olympics on the xbox360.
aside: I’m still the best at the game though, even with the blister… :D
I’ve already done a few minor tricks with my left hand and I’m playing snooker and tennis left handed. i look stupid doing it but i just want both to be as coordinated as each other.
I’m going to start having two clubs in my left hand when I start juggling and learn tricks like shower and flourishes in the left.
My writing is still terrible and I’m in the middle of exams so I dont think I should do much of my writing in my left. I’ll just waste time and energy!
but I will get into it eventually….
