I’m so tired today and was tempted to miss my meditation session, but I didn’t, I made my self sit for 10 minutes (despite nearly falling asleep) so feel quite proud of myself.
Meditated today, it was hard though as i’m full of cold and spent most of my time coughing. At least i’m beginning to establish a routine, the rest will come.
Managed another 10 minutes today. Felt ok, nothing extraordinary but it did make me realise how stressed I felt at that moment.
Okay, i’m trying to start meditating again. Think i’ll just start off with 10 minutes a day – wonder how many days I can keep it going for? Did my meditation for today and it helped me to feel calm, the hard thing is trying to keep that mindstate throughout the day.
My meditation classes have started up again after a break through the summer, and the best thing is that they’ve changed venue from been a 30 minute walk away to been about 30 steps away from my house! The downside of this is that the ‘very scary lady’ who goes to the class (not sure what it is – there’s just something about her eyes that gives me the creeps…i’m sure she’s very nice though…i hope – gulp!) now knows where i live – eek!
I do, however, feel much calmer and have managed to find time to meditate every day since setting this goal…maybe more meditation will help me get over my eye phobia.
I’ve been meditating on and off for about 3 months now so I guess it’s time to make a daily commitment. I did go through a phase were I meditated daily for about 3 weeks and I felt GREAT, I was really positive and completely chilled but for some reason I let it slip and haven’t been able to regain that feeling since. Maybe i’m trying too hard…guess I just need to get on with it and see what happens.
