I am leaving for Morocco once again in 5 weeks to be exact. This time I am doing a roundtrip. I will be visiting North, Middle, South and West Morocco. I expect to be even more dazzled by this country. I will be travelling with 2 friends and this should be a blast…..

I am counting down the weeks…........

The list is very long but here are a few of the place I wanna travel to:

since I will be working for a travel agency and I get discounts :-)

There are so many countries/ cities I have not yet seen.

Time to draw up a “need to visit list” ;-)

I did go to Marrakech & Essaouira in March for 2 weeks.It was wonderful again. :-)

I just heard that the friend I was going to visit has a lot of problems with his job and family. I therefore think that it is better to cancel the trip. Fortunately, it is possible to change my date and destination….the travel agency where I booked my ticket provides that service. I will have to figure out whether or not I am going to go to Marrakech again or if I will be choosing another destination….GRRRRR…...
I am so disappointed but on the other hand it’s a good thing I heard the news in advance…..

Yep yep….I am going to Marrakech again in october for 2 whole weeks….I am glad that my new employer doesn’t mind my leaving….but then again, I told them about the trip I had already planned…..

The next thing on the list is a minicruise of 3 days to Newcastle/ England. Me and my sisters have been talking about doing this for over a month. We need to set a date soon. I think it will be lots of fun.

I have really enjoyed my stay in Marrakech. The people were so warm and friendly! I have been I while since I have experienced such genuine hospitality….just super.

Me and my friend also went on two excursions to Essaouira (the Windy City) and to the Ourika Valley (where the Berbers live).

The food was great. It’s a good thing that it was warm/ hot otherwise we would have surely gained weight…lol.

I am looking forward to another visit to this beautiful country.Hopefully I can fly there again in October.
Marrakech has captured my heart.

Another thing that Marrakech aroused in me was the urge to learn French. The main languages are Arabic and French.
Fortunately I was able to communicate in spanish (with a number of people) in english with one a few of the people. I really need to learn French.I have never wanted to speak a language this badly :)

I love to travel and really would like to do it more than once a year.

I booked a trip to Morocco yesterday. I am going to Marrakech with a friend. We both have never been there and we are really looking forward to it.
The stories of friends who have been there are amazing so we will have to see for ourselves.
We are leaving at the end of June….so still about 4 weeks to go.
