get into grad school

600 Verbal ~84 percentile
690 Quantitative ~68 percentile
This is not good. I’m going to have to study my butt off and re-take the test this summer. I’m just really mad that I’m going to have to re-do the writing sections. They took forever!

take GRE

UA: apply directly to PhD program
UCB: apply directly to PhD program
UNM: apply for MA program

I’m not sure I want to apply anywhere else. I would really like to go to one of the first two. :(
I am sad, because I am stressed out.

As a linguist, I’m not entirely sure I have any other options. Not only that, but my ultimate goal is to get a PhD and teach/do research. I never want to leave school, and this is the best way to do it. I can keep getting degrees, and get paid for it!!!
