My tomato king dreams did not work out … Then there was the “fruit fly” harvest errr the seed harvest and my dropping of a stack of paper plates clean seeds resulting in an impossible to seperate mix. Too many tomatoes to actually process. This spring i am keeping it simple and planting lots of flowers with one small/medium plot reserved for the veggies i will actually eat.

Things have grown well but the garden seems a bit late … got the manure in a few weeks ago. I see a few ears of corn forming so the corn i planted too thickly isnt a total bust. I counted plenty of snap peas yesterday, will have to pick those soon. We have lotsa tomatillo’s … the wind knocked a handfull off but they were probly the ones that set early on as they are almost ripe. Lots of small green tomatoes, with a few of the siberian tomatoes ripening … i found one with deer teeth marks on it … aparently the bugger bit it a few times and didnt like the taste of egg. I think i need to respray. The raspberries are growing good and the trees are also. Next year is going to be much better, maybe even awesome.
