write a children's book

I wanted to be an author. Then I went to university and plans changed. I’ve always been told that I am a gifted writer but for the past few years I’ve had a bit of a block. I thought that I should be naturally progressing away from childrens stories towards adult fiction. But the truth is, the older I get, the more I find that being an adult is simply not as inspiring to me. I adore the color, the imagery, and the creativity of children’s stories and so I’ve decided I will stick to what I do best. In fact, I think I will start writing this week. I’ll update if I come up with anything brilliant.
