I heard a loud noise one night. 7 months ago

I go to bed very early, as I have to get up early. I was awaken by a loud noise and a cry, the other night. I jumped up to find my wife sitting at the bottom of the stairs. I ran down and decided that she was OK, so I helped her up to the bedroom. I went to the restroom and heard her fall again. She was just sitting on the floor making odd noises, I then called 911. She fell on her “bumm” and had broken her tail bone, which is very painful. I thought for a few moments that I was going to lose her, as she seemed to be having some kind of seizure, but the ER doctor said that it was just the pain that caused her body to “shut down”. That thought made me want to recommit to this goal! A too exciting night, I called in sick to work the next day, family care is a proper excuse to not report for work.

I wish I could say that I am doing this compleatly 9 months ago

but I am not. However we are doing something right, March 10, 2009 was or 37th wedding anniversary.

Sometimes I forget 14 months ago

how much she really means to me. I used to buy here a little gift every month. No big deal, but her “love language” is “gifts”, so I would buy here some little thing to show her I love her. After we moved I kind of fell out of that habit, of course she never said anything, but I knew that she felt it. Today on the way home I bought here a pot of mums:-)

36 Years! 21 months ago

We are going to go through some major changes in the next few months, I am going to accept a new job that will involve us moving and being separated for a few weeks, always stressful. However this weekend we went to Eurkia Springs for a few days to celebrate our 36th anniversary. I love her more each day!

Sometimes it is hard 3 years ago

we have been together for 35 years, and to be truthful sometimes I sit and pick apart her actions, but I do have a choice. I can be a loving husband as God wants me to be, or I can be selfish and hateful thereby making myself miserable. Sometimes it is a hard choice:-)
