We spent three weeks in Australia, and had just a wonderful time. The people are wonderful, it is a lot more “multicultural” than I had imagined. We went to Perth and Sydney, as well as a three day drive out of Perth to visit some of my son-in-law’s country relatives.

My wife and I came down to Little Rock, where we will git on a plane to California today, as our first step toward going to Australia!
granddaughter now has her passport. We will all be going together. We have just two weeks to go!
We have plane tickets, and much to my surprise, my one-month-old granddaughter needs a passport to go, my daughter is taking care of that. We fly to LA on Feb 26, visit with some family in California for a few days, then off to Australia!
Well we (may wife and I) Plan to go to Australia in March or April. We made the first step, which is starting the process of obtaining passports. Much to my surprise the application cost of two passports was $194. That is not counting the pictures, which were also expensive. Yes I know that I am a cheap skate, and this is just the beginning of my expenses, but it still seems high to me.
My son-in-law was born in Australia, and I want to go there and see some of the things he has told me about.
