Stop being redundant, by saying the same thing in different words.

I was making a joke with my granddaughter today and she laughed (she is one year old, so she laughs at anything). My daughter then said to her, “yea, you laugh now, but he tells that joke all of the time!” I did not know if I should be hurt, or proud that I was carrying on a family tradition:-)

but I have noticed that I sometimes repeat myself. The big question is what to do, when you are half way through a story and then you realize that you have told that person that story before? I don’t wish to be one of those people who when they talk everyone’s eyes glaze over. Lots of people have a fear of turning into their Dad, but I seem to have skipped him and I am turning into my granddad:-)
