I had my first guitar lesson today! My sis is actually a pretty good teacher, even if she does lay on the encouraging slogans a bit thick. She’s taught me E minor and C major so far… the tips of my fingers are still tender but she assures me that “it will pass!” and that I should “work through the pain!”

Have decided lately that I don’t need to be naturally talented or even especially good at stuff in order to attempt it(!) And this is something I wanted to do as a kid.

Would love to get campfire-good and be able to play Bob Marley’s Redemption Songs…
