buy a laptop

I’m so torn on this. I’ve been a lifelong PC user. I might be interested in trying a Mac though. Macs use Intel chips now and even allow multiple OS’s (as you probably all know). So they seem really versatile. Then again their prices are often $700-$1000 higher than a PC laptop with comparable specs. That’s not cool at all. So it’s a really hard decision. I’ve been combing through store ads, ebay and other websites, asking people about it. Any thoughts, especially based on experience?

I have a really old one that I really loved. It’s just finally too old. Keepin’ my eye out for deals and I got my tax return. I know a new wave of Duo chips is supposed to be coming out in less than a month. So that may be a great time to buy.
