My original goal was to lose 65 pounds. This is more specific :-)
Weight this morning = 256.8 I must admit, I am more concerned about my health, how I feel, my energy level and losing a chin or two then I am specifically concerned with a number (i.e. weight). Having said this, my weight has been a good indication in the past as to how healthy my lifestyle is. Interestingly, I have usually been able to lose weight quickly by implementing healthy lifestyle strategies (i.e. diet modifications, exercise, etc.). I am frustrated because I have implemented several of these in the past 2 weeks and have seen almost no progress in terms of the number on the scale:
-dramatically reduced/eliminated sugar consumption
-increased water drinking
-slightly increased exercise
-healthy breakfast of oatmeal and egg whites every morning
No weight loss! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Things are bouncing around a bit lately. I was as low as 247 last week, yet weighed in at 252.5 today. Arghhh. Usually I wouldn’t be surprised by these fluctuations, but I am a little surprised in this case…
I’m just under 250 lbs now, so I suppose I have almost 60 lbs more to go!
