Summer camp, yay! I explained to one of the other counselors all about the diva cup. She seemed pretty interested, and I’m going to send her a link to the site. Seriously when I think about it, how did I put up with pads for so long??

Well, it may not have educated more women about the Divacup, but I explained it to the 5 guys I was living with last month. A couple of them were reeeally confused, but one already knew what it was! Hooray!

Why switch to the DivaCup, you ask? What’s wrong with the tried and true method? GLAD YOU ASKED!! :-)

What’s wrong with the “tried and true” method is the more than 14 billion pads, tampons and applicators going into North American landfills every year. Menstrual cups last for 10 years without creating waste every month.

Additionally, the mainstream products are not actually that healthy for women. Tampons leech chemicals into the woman’s body every month. Menstrual cups are not associated with any risk for contracting Toxic Shock Syndrome.
