Rally the troops! 2 years ago

I’m happily getting people to join me in my goal to Put your presents where your politics are!! This is the third year I’ve made it my goal to only give holiday gifts that are either local, fair trade, or home-made! It’s so much fun, and I feel so much better giving consumable and/or actually useful gifts!

This weekend, 2 years ago

My mom is coming to the Burly Bur!! And she’s actually staying over, instead of just a daytrip. She kept trying to find an event or something to incorporate with a visit, and finally I told her – what I LOVE about Burlington is just BEING here, drinking coffee and people-watching, window-shopping on Church St, sitting on my porch, working in my garden, riding the bike path. So that’s what we’re doing! We’ll probably pick up tulip bulbs, depending on the weather we may or may not plant them. Other than that, no plans! I love it!

yummmm, weekend!

Friends of the family offered me their beach house this weekend, so an old friend and I are going to be beaching it up so I can be close-by for my camp staff meeting in southern NH early sunday am.
