Z: The Book Thief by Mark Zusak
Finally finished the final book! When I started this goal I limited myself with two rules:
1. I had to choose authors I had never read before
2. I had to go in alphabetical order.
Going in order made it much more difficult, but I read enough books that going out of order would have made the challenge a little pointless. Anyway, the best of the bunch (in no particular order): The Book Thief
The Blind Assassin
The Joy Luck Club
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
The Once and Future King
The worst: Starbook
Morality Play
Overall, more good books than bad ones. I loved this challenge! I might do another one with book titles. I read so many authors that I now want to read more from! :)

Soul Mountain was an interesting read. I read a review that described it as “a textual landscape”—and that’s exactly what I thought it was. Too bad I don’t appreciate landscapes as much as I should =P. It took me a while to get through, and I doubt I’d ever be able to read it again.
Kitchen was really pretty- a story about dealing with loss. Loved it.
Onto the last book!! Z!! WOoo!!!

One of my least favorites so far. I didn’t want to read Updike, mostly cause he was half of what I found with the U authors. This book got high reviews on Amazon and sounded interesting, but I couldn’t really get into it and was really bored by the time I finished. =(

I had so many books by an S author that I wanted to read—but Sanderson’s my boyfriend’s favorite author so I decided to give it a try. The story is a bit too stereotypical cheesy fantasy so I wasn’t a big fan, but I’d probably give Sanderson another go. Trying to decide if I wanna read another S right now or go to T…

<3 the pictures in this book! Not as scary as the pics would make it seem, and the ending was terrible. Still... good read!

I thought I was going to HATE this book- after all, all the Q authors I could find were romance novels and I don’t read romance novels often. Yet, I really loved this book—this book is another reason for why I am so happy to be doing this challenge!

Originally was gonna read a Palahniuk book for P, but found the Pearl book more interesting.
Anybody else have any trouble with Q? All the Q books I’ve found are romance novels…
