Okay, big tip to self: when something isn’t working – before going through pains to check every weird possible quirk of language… do make sure you’ve (re)typed your variable names correctly o_O
I guess this is part of the problem of a weakly-typed language – or coming from other languages where (mistakenly) making up new variables mid-code wouldn’t be allowed!
