Have bought myself a new pedometer so I can track my walking and have been really good this week. Must keep it up!

It’s been too cold recently to go out, but I’ve got my pedometer on and am aiming for 10000 steps daily, even if its just round the house.
I’ve arranged with a friend that we will make regular ‘dates’ to go for walks – first one next week. We’re also doing a charity 5km walk in May, so that will give us an incentive to keep going.
If the weather is suitable, I park further away from the school when I go to pick the children up so we all get a bit extra exercise as well.
This is a goal for me to start next year. Once my baby is here, I am planning on getting out and walking much more. This will help me towards my getting fit and healthy goal as well and I think the dog will also benefit! Time to dig out the pedometer again!
