to the new regime. Weighed myself this morning and have lost 3 pounds in the first week :-) So I’m really happy!

So much for the fresh start last time! School summer holidays kind of sabotaged me – too much going out with teh children and eating out.
Am starting again today – I know I’ve said it before but I’m really determined this time. I’m going to a christening in 3 weeks and it would be great if I could lose half a stone by then.

I’ve had a bad couple of months but am feeling positive about tackling my weight again. I’ve put on 4 pounds, so 39 pounds still to lose!
I’m going for the healthy eating approach rather than dieting as I know I feel deprived if I’m on a diet. Also making the effort to be more active so that will help.
First target is to lose the 4 pounds I put back on.
I seem to have stalled on this. I can’t seem to stop eating junk at the minute and haven’t lost any weight for ages. I know what I need to do, but actually doing it is a different thing altogether. I’m going away for the weekend next week, so really need to get myself in gear when I get back. I’m so sick of being overweight and having no clothes that fit properly.
My baby is now 6 weeks old, so it is time to start shifting the excess weight. After weighing myself this morning, I need to lose 50 pounds in order to get to the weight I want to be. If I can lose 2 pouns each week, I should be there in 6 months!
