be a foster parent

Being a Foster Parent is exhausting but so worth while. I am so very glad to have the girls in my home!

I am exhausted. Having been placed with a 2 and 3 yr old sibling set for Foster Adopt, they run me ragged. ISSUES!!!!! I love them and will weather through this but MAN is this hard work. You would think with three older children I would have known this but they are testing boundaries etc at EVERY second.

All paperwork done. Waiting for PRIDE classes in February.

My SW called yesterday. We are to come and sign our paperwork and look at “child availables”. Not sure how I feel about looking through a binder of children waiting for a family. I know their faces will haunt me. I wish I could bring more than one, or at the most two, into my home.

We’ve finished the classes and the fingerprints and had the home inspected. Just waiting to hear from the State that we are accepted. They said it may take 70-90 days.
