midway through the "C"s — 2 months ago
I’ve started reading so many books that I haven’t been reading the dictionary but I’m determined to accomplish this goal so I’m midway through the C’s.

I quite enjoyed reading the “B” words in the Oxford dictionary. Some words that stood out that I would like to use in my vocabulary are;
Blithe- a cheerful, casual and carefree person
Bunkum- nonsense
Boondoggle- trivial or unnecessary work
Buxom- plump & healthy lokking, full bosomed
So, here’s to living a blithe life!
Wow. I enjoyed reading through the “A” words. I learned something new about the word “August.” In noun form it is the 8th month of the year, but in adjective form it means “majestic, imposing.” Thought that was cool.
Other words I learned are Abscond, Ameliorate, Assiduous and Aucourant.
Abscond-to go away secretly, especially after wrongdoing; Ameliorate-to make or become better; Assiduous-diligent and perservering; Aucourant-acquainted with what is going on, well informed, up-to-date.
Now I have to imply these words in my vocabulary!
I am enjoying reading the Oxford dictionary and am surprised at how many words I know. I am trying to incorporate the words I don’t know into my vocabulary.
