Learn to read and speak French Fluently

It really sucks to learn something, such as a new language, only to forget most of it. I feel like those two years in French class were all a waste. They say once you learn something, you never really ‘forget’ it. I am sure this holds true to an extent, but, damn it! Do you know how complicated french pronouns and grammar structure are to master?

I was a little jealous today when I overheard two people in one of my classes say that they spoke fluent français.

I wish I did.

Tu ferais mieux d’ouvrir la porte avant de prendre un marteau pour les murs autour d’elle. Je ne peux pas vous laisser l’intérieur de moi dans la peur, je vais couler le navire et glissez-nous à la fois vers le bas.

SO a couple of day ago I turned in my French II Project. I did it the night before, and it looked like pure shit. I had to decorate it in homeroom, but the colored pencils would barely go over the glossy paper… and then I presented it. That was about last week…

Well, today everyone got their projects back. I was about to take mine when my teacher says “Oh, no, just leave it. I want to hang it up.”

WTF? it looked like shit! I did a double look. I couldn’t believe it. I thought I was going to fail the project, and here she is telling me that it’s ‘so great’ that she wants to hang it up on the wall.

Well, French 2 midterms are next Friday. Ou, vendredi. And I need to study…

this goal is not about just checking it off to check it off. I actually WANT to learn french. It would be a dream to be fluent.

This upcoming year in high school, I signed up for French 2. French 1 was incredibly easy and fun.

Plus, I hear that in French 3 all you do is sit around and watch movies in French.

Fun, oui?
