20. The Old Man and the Sea – Ernest Hemingway (1.5/5)
First time I read a book by Hemingway, and I’m certainly not used to his writing style (which is declarative)... will have to read other books by him in the future and see if I like them more than this one!

I’m a little older than the age it’s geared towards, but it’s still a good novel!

17. 1984 – George Orwell (4/5)
I first tried reading this book in April but it was hard for me to get into; I checked it out again from the library last month and the same proved true, but I’m glad that I stuck with reading it this time around because I really liked it later on! I actually just finished it today. What a thought-provoking read!

15. Lost Boys – Orson Scott Card
Really loved the book earlier on (hence why I was so fast with reading it – I began Thursday). However, I had a distaste for what occurred near the end of the book – it was confusing and not the way I had wanted things to go! So, I’m giving the read a lower rating than I had originally planned: 3/5.
