Lately I eat pizza like three times a week. Yesterday I had a small Caruso’s No-Cheese Pizza. I was skeptical, but a friend told me it was worth my while. And it delivers – I can’t say it was as good as a pizza with cheese, but the sauce and diced garlic played pretty well off of the excellent crust. There was also a little parmigian cheese sprinkled over the top. Anyway, it didn’t taste like something was missing.
I hear there is a Red Top Pizza around these parts with a layer of sauce and crust concealing a cheese center, and not scummy Pizza Hut style. I have also heard this pizza called the Best Pizza Ever. We shall see.
