You must know when to stop looking and strike that balance. I have met that balance, it’s come to a time where on going work is already too much to handle and a steady flow of income looks promising.

I’m a freelance web developer with a few constant and happy clients. I get good months and bad months but never know which month is good or bad until I’m half way through. I’m constantly torn between whether I should stick around and wait for jobs from my clients or go out and find more work, stabilizing my income! If I do the latter I run the risk of clients moving on. A freelancers life is hard.
