Grow my hair out

All right. It seems that it’s growing out even better since the cut. My fault for not being specific to my stylist. I asked for a layered cut, but it appears to be growing out fine…even better.

Time to get a new stylist. Not kidding…at least 2” hacked off! I am very depressed about it. All that work. Gone!

Got my hair trimmed a little yesterday. “Neaten it up,” I said. She chopped too much off. How can I get this right?!

Well…I was trying to grow things out straight, but it was becoming too wild all over. I went to my stylist and asked to to do some extreme layering to tame the wild look. It looks good. However, I had to sacrifice an inch or so in the process!! :-( Much more controllable. Also, I had to get re-highlighted (frosted) in the meantime since all my highlights were cut out. My stylist said that hair grows faster in the summer. I hope so!

Still growing. Now just slightly above the ears. The “irritation factor” is going away. People are now asking “are you growing your hair longer?”

What a mistake. Went for a trim to get things under control and she cut it too damn short!!! Should have went with my gut to wait another two weeks.

About 60 days and counting with no haircut. I’m trying to make it to the end of the month. It’s becomeing wild and very, very curly! Just trying to grow another 4 inches which puts it around my shoulders. Highlighted it blonde again. Will get it trimmed at the end of October. The hair just about covers the ears.

I have the urge to get a haircut. I think I can hang out 45 days until a trim (just to neaten up a bit). Two more weeks to go.

I have always had short hair. Now I have the urge to grow it out after all these years and have been trying for 2 months. Trying for a total of four inches. It’s long enough to my ears and two more inches to my collar. Don’t know if I can stand it!
