I have always been interested in simplicity, gardening, ritual, prayer, common grounds, and sharing quiet space. The first time I ever got quiet I was backcountry in Colorado, hiking Haun’s Peak (spelling may be wrong). This happened only for a weekend, but the memory of that still lingers. In fact, once we came back to Denver, I wanted to leave again. It would be nice to stay at a Buddhist temple for 3 months. Could you imagine that kind of silence. Wow.
