save $500

are now at $136.50.
well, this is not entirely true.
i lent $800 to someone with greater need than me, and i shall be getting this money back in January, perhaps with some interest though i am not asking for any. i have $50 in my savings account with money that i DO NOT TOUCH.
i have a roof over my head and food in my stomach, so im quite well off.
but i’m closer to $500 than i was before. :)

this goal used to be “save $500 before the end of 2009”
but i have a job, and once i start working and getting a paycheck, this will totally be done.
so im not worried about it and needing to have it as an urgent goal.

the basement of a house, so im making money off that.
i made $30, bringing my grand savings total to $56.
where does the money go?

i will make a deposit on friday.
this way, i’ll have deposited at least 26 dollars, hopefully more.
i really need to sell the clothes and do family chores.
i have a pet sitting gig coming up soon, so i should get some money off that.
it seems hard, but this goal might actually be attainable!

So the 80 i said i had saved… lets just say i took that to Italy, and used it to buy wonderful presents for my family.

Which makes me very happy, but doesnt bring me any closer to completing this goal.

So im not going to use any more of the money i save, because i REALLY dont wanna sell stuff on ebay, i can never get things sold.

On a brighter note, while working on my Coin Wrapper goal, i discovered that all the coins i have horded for a couple of years, have turned into something magical… over $26!!!! Yay!
So, im going $100 at a time… because its so much easier to save that, than than to think about saving $500.

Im feeling good about this!

I made 40 from babysitting last night, and had 40 in cash. I will put that in my account as soon as possible.

also, as soon as i sell my clothes and get my coins exchanged for cash, i should have some more money.

combining that with more babysitting this summer and chores, i should manage to come up with something.

Im considering a garage sale, but live in a remote area so i dont know where i could do it. Any ideas?
