I dug out my ancient edition of Now Your Talking, purchased the last time I was considering this. I’ll certainly want to bone up on the most recent questions, but the core electrical theory hasn’t changed much and, thankfully, is beginning to come back to me after twenty years of disuse. Remembering all of the radio bands will prove to be the most challenging.
Working through the first few chapters of the basic rules gave me flashbacks to the aeronautical knowledge portion of the private pilot certificate. On one level, many of the basic rules are common sense: I won’t fly excessively low over buildings (FAA) vs I won’t broadcast pirate radio (FCC).
