Had to work wwaaaaaaaayyyyy long today in preparation for a dog and pony show +, finally left around 10:45. Lovely riding: temperature in the upper 40s, overcast layer of clouds moving in (which bodes poorly for tomorrow’s total lunar eclipse), dry. Traffic was (obviously) light, letting me enjoy the middle of the lane most of the way.

This morning’s ride off the plateau was one of those “keep looking down to make sure I’m actually moving forward” rides: it was very breezy, but dry. The hot shower afterward was très bon
I really enjoyed the ride home this evening, even though it was dark and starting to rain. The fresh air perked me up. Roads still have a lot of dirt and gunk on the side, though.
