Learn how to remember peoples' names

Well I had been doing extremely well, but I made a blunder a couple of nights ago. I was going around the table introducing the people in my program to some friends…and damnit I forgot one of the girls names. I apologized profusely but I still felt like an ass. But overall, I have definitely been making progress with this goal.

So I have been really good about not being shy and asking names again when I need to. I have been improving and that is what counts. I will get there.

Do any of you have any tips on this one? I always remember faces so it becomes such a pain not to remember their names. And of course, they always know mine.
