grow my own food

i’ll grow tomatos, lettace, basil, potatos, carrots, beats, strawberries, brocoli, and maybe corn

if i have enough room.. or if my dad makes me a new garden haha

i know theres still like 4 feet of snow on the ground, but i’m just so excited for spring

i picked my carrots and beats today, sadly the beets were all about the size of a nickle.. don’t know what happened. but the carrots came out great! the picture is of the largest carrots, there were about 50 more tinier ones and malformed ones that i’m going to juice or can.

consitering how theres still 4 feet of snow outside, the only edible things i can grow are herbs on my window sill. this summer my dad and i will grow pumpkins and tomatoes and cucumbers and all types of normal garden foods. i can’t wait until i can walk outside in the morning and pick strawberries for my cheerios. :)
