I almost have the entire house under control.
I’ve continued to keep my kitchen perfect. Then I worked on my library, lounge and study. The study was a big job, but I’m pleased to say it has stayed under control for over a month now.
Last weekend I tackled the laundry which is my general junk collection area. Right now it’s spotless, but I want to wait a while to make sure it doesn’t revert back to pure mess.
My dining room is good, but I tend to drop everything there when I get home, so I still need to work on it a bit. Then I just have my bedroom, bathroom and store room to go.
Amazingly I’ve managed to keep my kitchen under control all year. This is usually hard for me because the cupboards are always closed, so it’s easy to be messy without too much drama.
I’m making an effort to make sure the dishes are always washed at the end of the day, so I don’t wake up to a mess. It’s working too! I’m also removing old soggy veggies from the fridge before putting fresh ones in there, and also throwing out the garbage before the bin starts to overflow.
Now I just need to get the rest of the house under control.
I’m not much of a hoarder, but it’s so easy for things to build up without noticing. I have only a very little home with just enough space for everything that is necessary. I’m going to start at one end and work my way through, removing anything that doesn’t need to be there.
