I got a little behind on this one. Really I let myself get behind because I didn’t want everyone to know how bad I was doing. Moment of truth has come…
Week 9:
I gained one pound. Not so good. Little depressed. Depression sent me to not caring.
Week 10:
Even worse. I gained 1.5 pounds. The depression from week 9 made me want to eat things I shouldn’t. I ate out a lot.
Week 11:
Good week. I disciplined myself to eat right with the exception of a child size ice cream at Cold Stone(who could resist) and a small piece of pie on Easter. I lost 4.5 pounds this week!
Total weight loss as of today:
20lbs! I reached my first goal.
The next goal is to lose 25 lbs by May 7th. That is the last day of the weight loss challenge. I think I can do it if I set my mind to it!

This was a good week. I lost 2#. I was a little scared because on Tuesday night (the night before weigh in) I went out to Lagrato’s with some of the girls. Wasn’t a problem however. I lost 2 pounds and had fried pickles too!
Total: 18.5 lbs!

Bad week. I only lost 0.5lbs. I need to exercise more this week.

This week was surprising to me. I wasn’t able to exercise much because of all the bad weather. I was expecting to have a zero for this week but to my pleasant surprise I lost 3 lbs this week.
Total weight loss: 14 pounds!

I was a little disappointed. I only lost 2 lbs this week. I know that is still good but I was hoping to keep up the 4 or 5 lb weight loss a week. The first 2 weeks were probably just water weight coming off. I know I did my best this week with my eating and my exercise. I should probably cut down on the coffee, but it is my joy every morning to have a cup. I have definitely noticed a lot of changes in my body so that is the most important part. Total weight loss so far = 11 pounds.

Today was weigh in number 2. I was pretty nervous about it this morning because this week I was only able exercise 2 days. Not only that but I went to a dinner over the weekend and had a piece of cheesecake. I was thinking that I might have lost 1 pound if that. To my surprise I lost…drum role please…4 pounds. That’s right 4 pounds. That is a total of 9 pounds in 2 weeks! Astounding! I had no idea I could do that. I just hope I can keep up.

Today is day 7 of the fitness challenge and my second weigh in. Good news- I lost 5lbs. this week! This is really exciting-it means all my hard work has paid off.

Yesterday was the first day of the weight loss challenge I am participating in at work. My diet is going well. It really isn’t much of a diet…its just eating the kinds of foods that are good for me and give me energy and not eating anything else. I will admit that in some ways losing the weight is about vanity. Some day I want my husband to think of me as a prize catch-on the inside and outside. I want to be sexually appealing to the man I marry. Besides the vanity I know that the weight is a health issue. I’m only 19. I have a lot of years to go in this body(dv). If you read this—please pray for me that God will give me strength to do what I need to do and not cave under the pressure and temptations that are all around me.
