Got in a huge fight with a good friend. Sometimes you hurt the ones you love the most you know?

I sort of thought of this as an abstract goal. Something that will happen if you smile and pray hard. I am just now realizing that this is going to take a complete shift in ideas for me. I can no longer hate stupid people. I have to be nice to them too. Oh Lord, I need to keep praying.
I recently read something that was really basic but very profound to me. It said that people will not be open to your ideas if they sense that you don’t like them. So in order to positively influence someone they have to feel like you appreciate them for who they are first. Whoa.
