Here's my favorite photo this month: our new toy poodle, Gabi

She’s only 7 pounds, but is far older than we had initially thought. The vet pegs her at at least 5 years old.

Todd and me

Here’s the photo with me and Todd Schoonover, one of the first 43Thingers ever.

I actually have another favorite for October...

This little girl was all decked out in her Sunday finest on Main Street.

My favorite photo for October...

I’m at Walt Disney World, and it’s my birthday.

My August photo at the Star Trek convention.

We’re sitting in the Starquest Bar & Casino at the Las Vegas Hilton. Management was smart enough to recognize that 5,000 Trekkies would descend upon them over 4 days, so they had these specialty drinks for us. They weren’t very good, but the alien glass was a lot of fun.

June's entry: my trip to see NY stage plays.

This is me hanging out in front of the Barrymore Theatre, where we saw Exit the King, Ionesco’s absurdist play about death, starring Geoffrey Rush and Susan Sarandon.

I met Linda Hamilton.

Yes, THE Sarah Connor from the Terminator films. And let’s not forget Catherine from Beauty and the Beast!

She was very, very gracious.

April 2009: Me with Oakland A's catcher Kurt Suzuki

During the A’s Fanfest today, they offered photo opportunities, and I was lucky enough to stand with Kurt Suzuki, the young Hawaiian-born starting catcher for the A’s.

March 2009: At a spring training game.

This was taken at Phoenix Municipal Stadium, while the A’s were playing the Cubs. It was such a pleasant day, weather-wise.

You can actually see my Oakland A’s tattoo on my cheek.

February: In the snow at Angel's Camp.

It only snowed for a few hours. And then the snow melted quickly, all gone by the afternoon. But in the morning, my sweetie took this picture.
