We invited some people who needed a place to go, and hosted our very first seder tonight!! Great food, too.
I can retire this goal! Finally.

It’s gotta chill for 24 hours so it’ll be ready for tomorrow night, 1st night seder.
Sweetie has gotten the place all spiffy. I think we’re almost ready to roll.
I am making haroset for both the temple community seder, which is the 2nd night, and our own seder, which is the 1st night.
We’ll see how it goes. There is so much to putting together a seder. This will take some planning.
and all our friends are figuring out which seders they’re attending.
Our synagogue is putting together their first annual community seder. It sounds like a lot of work, and very few people have committed to it, so I’ll see if I can volunteer to help out.
But I was merely a visitor. I supplied the cole slaw for one and the wine for both.
Next year? We’re thinking about hosting our own. We’ll see how the time/commitment goes. After all, who knows what we’ll be doing in a year?
I can’t find kosher mustard. I may not be making my spicy cole slaw for the 1st night seder.
Our hostess has the guest list confirmed, and has obtained those two tables. I now have to get kosher mustard for use in my spicy cole slaw, and then make it that day for 1st seder (Sat).
but I am helping my friend Dawn put one together. Well, not put one together, actually, but get tables for it.
Hey, you gotta start somewhere!
but I think it would actually be CO-host a seder. No way would I do this on my own!! And potlucks for Passover are good!!
What I’m saying is: Someday I’d like to do this.
