Alright, I need to create a plan, I know how to sew, so that’s one less thing I need to add to the plan. Although I’m rusty, so best to start small and work up once I’ve got my groove on. Maybe start with a purse or something.
- purchase sewing machine I need to keep this within my budget, maybe $200; research what I can get for that; I saw a Brother at Jack’s World for about $149; I’m used to using a Pfaff, spoiled
- find pattern Where do you go for patterns in New York City? Research this Ha ha, life’s a trip, I log on to Butterick.com and get three free purse patterns, just for logging on
- purchase fabric and notions Tons of fabric stores around Seventh Ave >34th/38th Streets<; also B’way around 148th Street<
- tweak pattern to suit my style
- maybe crochet something on it
- get cool buttons and trim
- tassel for zipper pull
- lay it out (need good pins), cut (already have good scissors), and get going sewing Yea!
- start date? have to go by payday since this has a cost element; how about mid-July
- completion date? mid-August
