For my birthday, my mom bought me tons of embroidery thread, a pair of embroidery scissors, and some needles. She even got me this really cool case to keep it all in…and you can put additions on it when you get more stuff!

I first saw this book in Art Star in Philadelphia while I was at the Kurt Halsey Frederiksen opening…but anyway, it’s called Sublime Stitching by Jenny Hart and I picked it up at Barnes and Noble that week when I got home. It has some basic introductory ideas in the front and then TONS of really cute patterns. I bought the thread, needles, and a hoop and I cannot WAIT to get creative. I’m definitely feeling the need to craft…
