This one is done

I’m running regularly now. This week I ran in an 8 km fun run on Sunday, I went pool running twice, I ran home from work on Thursday, and I went for a run up Black Mountain today.

Still running

I took my nephews for a run around Albert Park Lake in Melbourne on Sunday, and today I went along to the 6km Women’s jogalong in Canberra. I’ve also been pool running twice this week.

Thank goodness for my fitness challenge

I haven’t managed to get out for a run this week, but both of my group outdoor fitness challenge sessions have involved running. One more run and I think I can count this as another week with three runs.

That's twice now

I’ve managed this twice now, which is great. I’ll leave it up here until I’ve done it four times.

I'm acing this goal this week

At my outdoor fitness session we did more running – interval training. That’s three days so far this week.

I’m booked in to do a 7 km run with the running group tomorrow, and an 8 km fun run on Sunday. That will be the most running I’ve ever done in a week. Wow!

On track for this

I’ve run twice so far this week and I have a fun run scheduled for Sunday, so this one is in the bag!

If I can repeat it a couple more times, then I’ll start to call this a habit instead of a goal. :-)

Mission accomplished

I ran for three times in a week! My nephew, Andrew, ran with me yesterday and helped me to achieve my goal.

I’m going to leave this goal up here for another week, because I want to achieve it again before I take it off the list.

Now that I’ve achieved the goal I want to turn it into a habit!

Running this morning

This is my second run for the week. I’m well on track to achieve my goal this week. I’ve wanted to do this for so long. It’s great to know that I’m nearly there.

Now to make it a habit!

Another running commute

I ran to work again today. 4.8 km on the road, and I took a slightly longer route, choosing to travel on the safer walking path.

It’s a great feeling, and it lasts all day long! Now to get organised for my next run – hopefully on Wednesday.

Running commute

I finally did it – I ran to work this morning. I’ve been wanting to do this ever since I started at my new workplace so I was really pleased to be able to cross this off my ‘to do’ list.

I’m not sure exactly how far it is – a bit less than 5 k’s I think. It took me 35 minutes. I wasn’t trying to run fast and I took a few walking breaks. My next few mini goals will be to get halfway without stopping, then to the top of the big hill, then to the office.
