is a good time for reading my permaculture book. Maybe by spring I will be organized enough with my time that I can begin to put in a garden, based on permiculture design. I have read enough literature on permiculture to know where to start. I need to build swales and contour the land to retain water better. In Oregon we get rain, but if the land were contoured properly I could retain the water better and avoid unnecessary use of additional watering. I think I’ll get my book out and start planning.
