I can play a horse with no name by America really well now. I am also starting to play Dylan’s knocking on heavens door pretty well. I keep practicing my 12 bar blues almost daily. I still work on scales frequently. I need to start focusing and really dive into my guitar for dummies book and practice from there.

America – A horse with no name
I have been practicing this one for a few weeks now. It’s all in the strumming!
E Minor
022000
Dadd6add9
200200
This is a very easy chord change!
Strum it like this and it sounds beautiful!
Em
d dudu
Dadd6add9
dudu udu
(strum the 6th string before starting the strum pattern for Em)
I have been playing for at LEAST 15 minutes daily. Sometimes I feel like I have been playing for an hour! I just bought my first electric guitar also. Its a LTD. I will take pictures later. I have my first guitar lesson today at 4pm also!
Working on G major, C major, D major, E minor, A minor, D minor, chromatic scale, and E phrygian scale. Fingers on fret hand getting tough!!
a friends Epiphone acoustic guitar at the moment. I have done a little practice every day almost.
I still want to learn how to play guitar (or some other instrument) just not at the moment.
I just beat it on hard though! Honestly, I want to get my own guitar and really learn how to play well. This always reminds me of the scene in “Stranger than fiction” where Harold is in the guitar store. I also really like the part where is he is playing the song for his soon to be love.
