Really more of a tall one or two-person tower for checking the surf. — 2 years ago
I know where I want to put the tower, but I don’t know how to build something to bear a person’s weight. The tower would sit on a tiled patio that’s uneven, but will be nudged against a corner in the house, and could be attached to it for support. Any advice anyone? What could I use for the supports, what size lumber should I use for various parts? Am I supposed to have a permit for something like this? I think I could make it look like a trellis, especially once we get some vines growing on it, and if the ladder to climb it is part of the side.
