list 100 things I love about me

5.) That just being outdoors for a little while can change my mood completely. I can be in an overly cranky mood and if I manage to get outside and do something (play with our son, go for a walk, soak up the sun) I feel so much better. Not sure why I love this about myself, I guess just having come in from being outside raking I’m feeling pretty good :)

4.) My thoughtfulness. I think I’m a very thoughtful person, and am always concerned about others feelings and do my best to not say anything that might hurt anyone. I sometimes might do this to a fault as there have been some events that have happened in my life recently that maybe should’ve been addressed but I kept my mouth shutt so as to not upset anyone, so my feelings might have been compromised in the process. Regardless of that situation, I still think that my thoughtful and caring actions are something to be proud of.

3.) That I love the color pink and I’m not afraid to admit it. It sometimes seems like these days it’s not ‘cool’ for women to like pink and still be considered a strong, unique woman. Or is that just me reading way too much into things? I don’t know, regardless…I love the color pink for a lot of different reasons…but I mostly love it because I think it’s pretty :-).

2.) That I’ve turned out to be a pretty good mom. My son is 2.5 years old and even though I do a lot of things differently than I ever thought I would as a parent, I’m proud of my accomplishments and I think I have a pretty awesome kid!

...since I think it is probably the most important one in regards to being able to really love everyone and everything around me. I think it’s also going to be my hardest list to make. We’ll see how long it takes me to make my first entry…hell, I should do it right now…
