想去西雅图工作,结果又是白日梦

I may leave USA in about one month. Because I receive no decent interview after five months, 134th days. I became extremely lazy that I can not fulfill the task of walking two dogs every noon. Because I sleep at 3:00 am at average and got up at 14:00 pm.
Employers are not interested in reading about your daily routine. They want to see accomplishments! What are you most proud of? How did you add value to your position or company? Did you increase profitability, reduce expenses, improve efficiency or boost productivity? Can you quantify your achievements? These are some questions your résumé needs to answer.
A proven method of identifying achievements is to ask, “What problems did I encounter?” “What actions did I take to solve them?” and “What were the results?” In her book “Job Search Magic,” Susan Britton Whitcomb states this “creates a consistent, balanced visual impact and gives the appearance of a strong, long-term history for taking on challenges and delivering results.”
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.”
Chelsea!
It’s okay, things like this can happen to anyone. I don’t think your classmate intentionally tried to trick you in fact, I bet he feels bad that the position was already filled. Actually, it probably will be worthwhile to keep in touch with him, as he likely will be even more eager to help you find a job especially since he feels that he let you down! Right now you are feeling disappointed, but you should definitely not feel like you got fooled because you didn’t! You saw an opportunity and you went for it! Opportunities are never guarantees, don’t be too hard on your classmate or yourself. Put your energy into finding the next opportunity.
If you plan on staying in Chicago, it may be worthwhile to look at the companies there. And while you are there, enjoy Chicago! It’s a great city and there are a lot to see.
If you are coming back, let me know when and which flight.
Best,
Cindy

I want to punch my classmate in his face.
This guy told me the position was filled by a insider manager and they said women is not for the position. After saying sorry, he asked me to stay here and promised to help me find another job and apartment. I felt I was being fooled.
Yesterday I was traveling around try to avoid to see him, and he haunted in the hotel for three hours. In the end I had to hide in the restroom.
That’s what happened. Just let you know that I am safe.

I am in fear to really get this job. Because it might not be the position what I really want. But one thing for sure is that it is a chance for me to fight my spirit up. I will Have more stories to tell when I have kids.
The bad thing is that first of all, I need to revise my shitty résumé before i can take the exciting risk.
