Consumption vs Savings

I also work only part-time, as do almost all of us…
I work full 5 day weeks, which is 261 days out of 365. I get 8 public holidays and 5 weeks vacation, so that takes off another 33 days – 228 working days out of every 365.
That’s more than one day off in three. Sweet!
My plan is to drop down to 4 day weeks when I am 50 without compromising a (hopefully) comfortable retirement further down the line.
The way to achieve this is this is twofold:- save plenty
- live simply so that my retirement savings don’t need to be so big
