Doing okay 17 months ago

Well, I lost ten pounds, gained five, lost seven, gained four or five pounds…all within the space of two weeks. I’m trying to exercise as much as I can. I bike 2-5 miles a day depending on my mood. I still haven’t figured out the food thing. I’ve been trying to stay away from sugar most of the time and not binge. My BMI is down a point, so I guess I’m making progress. I really only like to do exercise that’s fun. No lunges and that sort of stuff on me. I like the trampoline, biking, and walking best. I’d like to do some running, but [insert excuse of the week]. I am on the lookout for dance classes because I really love dancing and, as a bonus, it also qualifies as exercise. And I’m going to try for some kind of plan with the food situation.

I’ve watched my weight slowly rise and my ab area balloon. Now that the BMI calculator has put me in the “overweight” sector, I’ve decided to actually do something serious. And,Kim N,I just thought I’d say, I like your list of goals. I think I’ll make my own. Maybe it’ll help motivate me. So here’s to the future!
