my best friend is japanese andi think it would be so cool to learn the language and be able to talk to her in it!!!
she taught me how to say a few things…
i can count:
ichi, ni, san, shi, go, roku, hichi, hachi, qu, ju, ju ichi, ju ni… etc
i can say “you are fat like a cow” (haha):
omai u shi mi tai ni futoi!
i can say “you are cute” :
omai kawaii!
i can say “i love you” :
aishteru!
i can also use telephone language with her parents to get a hold of her:
is Ran (my friend’s name) there? -
“Ran chan imasuka?”
wait a minute (her parents might say) -
“chotto mate”
not right now -
“ima inai”
thank you -
“arigato!”
isn’t JAPANESE FUN?!!!!
